Mad Hatter’s Surreal Picnic Soirée

“Curiouser and curiouser!” Step through the looking glass and join us for a whimsical evening under Charlotte’s summer sky.
You are cordially invited to a most curious gathering — a surreal picnic hosted by none other than the Mad Hatter himself! Our Mad Hatter-inspired gathering promises delightful oddities and charming conversation on the beautiful grounds of Mint Museum Randolph.

Whether you’re a March Hare or a Queen of Hearts, this is no ordinary picnic — it’s a surreal celebration of the beautifully bizarre!
✨Enter the Contest! ✨
We’ll be hosting two creative competitions during the event:
Best Mad Hat – wear your best, fantastical, whimsical, or downright outrageous hat
Best Garden-Inspired Centerpiece – show off your creativity by providing a vegetable, fruit, wood trimming, or floral table centerpiece
Attendees will vote for their favorites, so bring your boldest ideas and let your imagination bloom!
Refreshments
Main protein dish provided; members are encouraged to bring their most prized picnic dish to add to the festivities.
Complimentary, assorted beverages and a cash bar will be available.
Parking
Free parking available in the museum visitor lot.
RSVP by June 16th to secure your place at our peculiar party. Attendance will be limited to the first 150 people responding!
