Nestled just outside of Charlotte’s lively downtown on the edge of the NoDa Arts District, the McGill Rose Garden offers a venue brimming with colorful splendor.

Originally planted by the wife of Henry McGill – owner of the Avant Fuel & Ice Company – and opened to the public in the 1960s, this gorgeous garden provides locals and soon-to-be-wed couples with a natural retreat right in the heart of the city! Imagine saying your “I do’s” in a lush green space overflowing with over 500 rose bushes artfully planted on a modest 2 acres of land!

Enjoy a fun cocktail hour or celebratory reception on one of the garden’s emerald lawns, enjoying the intoxicating perfume of the surrounding flowers and the adorable fixtures tucked away amid the plant life, including charming archways and adorable statuettes. You can also find no better wedding venue in Charlotte for taking wonderful wedding photos! Overall, this gorgeous outdoor space adds the perfect touch of sophistication and vibrancy to any big day!
